called Larimar exercise was conducted by the National Emergency Management, through the Emergency Operations Center.
The activity was carried out to assess the flow of information and decision-making municipal and provincial committees on Prevention, Mitigation and Disaster Response.
exercise evaluators observed the details of the performance of the institutions in the occurrence the earthquake and tsunami alert, both in assisting those affected, the risk area evacuation in isolated communities, collapses buildings, among others.
This activity was funded by the Humanitarian Aid Department of the European Commission, through Plan International and conducted in close coordination with the National Emergency Commission.
Representatives from the provincial government, Civil Defence, Red Cross, Army and National Police, Navy, Politur, Fundasur, Provincial Health Department, Agricultural Institute, Regional Education, Social Plan, office Provincial Women, Environment, municipal district of Villa Central, among others.
